  La Palma in the Canaries, benefits of very clear air an clear sky, in fact some of the biggest observatories are placed here at 2400 mts above sea level. Our guide took us to a chosen place where it was expected to be able to appreciate the stars.

  Very good. On the trips they take you on they give plenty of info on what to look at. Wrap up warm. I didn't and I found that out to my cost.

  Thanks for a wonderful night! Laser pointers worked well. We learned many new facts about the sky and constellations. Full moon didn't allow for seeing many stars with a naked eye however we were able to watch the moon surface in details. If you want to see the milky way plan your visit for a dark phase of the moon.

  We like to watch the Sky and follow the stars. Our principal objective by taking the tour was to learn to identify star position and eventually be able to use correctly our telescope.
